Bonjour

I am so far behind in posting my cards, so will try to get caught up today. This card was made for Saturday's Inspiration challenge. We had to go to the website called Bonjour Mon Coussin. They make pillows, and we were to pick one as our inspiration and I picked this one:

I am really happy with how this turned out. I wanted it to look like a quilted collage of flowers like the pillow. There was a lot of work involved but I enjoyed every minute of it.

The base is Kraft cardstock. I stamped four images on whisper white and colored them with watercolor crayons and a blender pen. The stamps are from Local King Rubber, a company here in Canada. I used scraps of cardstock to back each image. Once they were assembled I placed them where I wanted them along with some Basic Grey designer paper.
Now comes the work. I used my piercing tool and pierced all around the card as well as between the panels to stitch them together. Did the same with the top panel and ran a white gel pen to connect all the little holes. The top panel is popped up on dimensionals. Added a ribbon and some dewdrops down the side and used a SU rub-on sentiment and butterfly to finish it off.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Here are the ingredients: Local King Rubber stamps, kraft cardstock, scraps of cs, Basic Grey designer paper, watercolor crayons, blender pen, ribbon, dewdrops, SU rubons, dimensionals, piercing tool, white gel pen.

Happy stamping!
