I am sure you have guessed by now that I am a huge House Mouse fan. This was done to cover the House Mouse weekly challenge to do with moving. Also the color challenge to use summer sun, only orange and kiwi kiss. The base, summer sun was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. The image, called Dragonfly-ing, was stamped with Stazon black on whisper white cs. Coloring was done using watercolor crayons and a blender pen. Sponged some clouds for a sky background and stamped trees along the bottom in kiwi kiss. Wanted to have the effect of flying over the treetops, moving on to a new home. The wings on the dragonfly were colored and then brushed with Lumiere acrylic paint for a bit of shimmer. Made my own sentiment on the computer. Added kiwi kiss ribbon. The corners on the image panel were punched with the ticket punch.
Ingredients: House Mouse 'Dragonfly-ing' stamp, Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder, oval punch, ticket punch, watercolor crayons, blender pen, Stazon black ink, soft sky ink, kiwi kiss ink, dimensionals, Lumiere acrylic paint, kiwi kiss ribbon.
Have a super evening. Blessings!
