Masculine Birthday

Today has been a busy day. Just got back from Calgary where I attended an Epicure Spice party hosted by my daughter Lynn. My daughter Shawna, has just become a demonstrator and this was her first party. It was a roaring success so everyone left happy.

For those who may not know, Epicure Spices is a Canadian company that has a whole line of the most amazing spices, dips, salsas, etc., that are all natural ingredients. They are so yummy!! This card was made for a friend's birthday. I am really pleased with how this came out and it was very simple to make. The image was stamped on whisper white with black ink and colored with watercolor crayons and a blender. I used Shimmerz for the light coming off the lighthouse. The ovals were cut with the coluzzle and the sentiment was stamped with really rust, trimmed with the paper cutter and the ends snipped with the corner rounder punch. Added some brads to complete the picture. I think it is the colors that give it that masculine feel. Both the brown and rust cardstock are textured and from Bazzill. The designer paper is Basic Grey.

Ingredients: Our Daily Bread 'Let Your Light Shine' stamp set, sentiment from Stampin' up Birthday Whimsey, Bazzill brown and rust textured cardstock, Basic Grey designer paper, oval coluzzle, corner rounder punch, watercolor crayons, blender pen, Shimmerz gold, dimensionals.

It is late, I am tired, so will say goodnight. Hope you all have a restful night.
Happy stamping!

Faith
